About AI Safety Association
A plain-English guide to AI risks, safe use and AI rules, with every source shown and every page dated.
What we do
We read the documents that matter in AI safety: the laws, the frameworks, the regulators' findings, the court orders and the companies' own policy pages. Then we explain them for people who are not researchers. You will find six topics covering the safe use of chatbots, the documented risks of AI, US rules, EU and world rules, AI governance, and AI and jobs, plus free tools to print or copy.
Why it exists
Most of what is written about AI safety is aimed at researchers, vendors or compliance teams. Families, schools and small organisations still have to decide, this week, whether a chatbot is safe for their kids, what to put in a policy and what a new law means for them. We write for them: short sentences, exact steps, and a clear line between what is known, what is disputed and what nobody knows yet.
What we are not
"Association" is our name, not a claim. We are not a government body, a regulator, a standards body, a law firm or a certifier. We do not have members, and we do not issue certificates or approvals. We are not affiliated with any AI company, agency or standards body we write about; we name them only to report what they published, with a link. Nothing here is legal, medical, financial or investment advice.
How the pages are made
Every page follows the same four steps: find the primary source, link it, date it and say what is still unknown. Read the detail on how we check sources, including how we use AI tools in the writing, on our editorial policy and corrections page.
